Aurora- Douglas Officers Receiving Charter
For Veterans Day we delivered coloring pages to the area schools for the students to color and then give to the Veterans during their Veterans Day program.
6 of our members and 2 visitors attended the quarterly board meeting and Christmas at the Capitol.
We also had a Christmas Tree on display at the Aurora County Courthouse.
At our November meeting we elected our officers for the 2024-2026 term.
Our January 16 meeting was postponed to January 30 because of the weather.
Our campaign committee is working on voter registrations.
At our August meeting we had our state president Catherine Barranco speak. We had a sandwich, salad, and dessert luncheon. She told of her life living in Texas, which was very interesting. Two of our members attended the Trump rally. Our Caring for American committee continues to work with Call to Freedom. We handed out 800 of their brochures at 10 showings of Sound of Freedom movie. Our Campaign Committee attempted to register each high school senior in the schools in our two counties. Five of our members and one visitor attended the state quarterly board meeting in Oacoma. At the quarterly board meeting we received the bronze achievement award from NFRW.
