Rushmore Regents - October, 2019

It's a beautiful fall day today. By now, I'm sure we are back in the full swing of our regular routiines after the activities of summer. We haven't added any new Regents since the last report. That is to be expected, as we will soon be coming to the end of another year. The new year will be here before we know it. And, of course, next year is an important one with the Presidential election coming up. It's not too soon to think about becoming a Rushmore Regent in 2020. We will want to be as well-funded as possible to support our women candidates for state offices. Please begin considering this. I will have more information about joining Rushmore Regents in the next newsletter.

Rushmore Regents

The Rushmore Regents were established by South Dakota Federation of Republican Women as an avenue for Republican women to play a greater role in our State's political system. A desire to promote the cause of good government at the State level through our personal activism. In particular, providing funding to women candidates running for state offices. We hope to be able to offer meaningful support to our candidates, and encourage as many ladies as possible to become member of Rushmore Regents.

All women of South Dakota Federation of Republican Women are eligible to become Rushmore Regents.

Benefits of Regent membership may include:

* Special invitation only events

*Networking opportunities with Republican Leaders from around the state

*Exclusive receptions at the SDFRW meetings which may include such things as special guest speakers and photo opportunities with elected officials and a commemorative gift

*Special recognition on the SDFRW programs and Website

Annual dues for Regents are $100.00

Discounted to $75.00 if paid by March 1st
